Happy Saturday! I hope everyone’s weekend has started off well! I’ve literally used my Too Faced Matte Eye Palette every day since I bought it, so I couldn’t wait to record a look for you. If you haven’t yet read my full review, pop on over here to see a bunch of HD photos (thanks for the new camera, Mom & Dad!), swatches, and my thoughts on this palette. SPOILER: It’s a rave. I debated about doing the looks from the look cards because I feel like they are pretty simple and straight forward, but I do love this look, so I chose the Fashion look to start off. Let me know in the comments below if you want me to do the rest of the look cards or just jump in to my own looks. I hope you enjoy this tutorial!

Although this look is a little smoky, I think it is completely daytime appropriate. Keeping the eyeliner to a minimum and skipping the falsies will make this look even more work or day date friendly. If you want to bump it up for a night out, thicken up the liner and wing it out a bit at the end. Build up the Midnight even more in the outer corner for a truly smoky, cat eye look.
I love the dustiness of the purple in the palette, Vintage Violet. I really think that it is my favorite color, which is handy because purples look great on us brown-eyed beauties. Count on seeing this pop up again in tutorials.
I paired this look with soft, mauvey-pink cheeks and lips to maintain focus on the eyes. I wanted this to be a more day-to-night look and keep the face looking fresh and youthful.
That’s all for now, so peace out girl scouts! I’ll see you next week for a Spring Haul, more makeup tutorials, and perhaps a TAG. Any TAGs in particular you’d like to see me do?
