Happy New Year! 2014 brought so many changes and blessings to my life–most importantly our daughter, Grace Marie. Between my pregnancy, insane amounts of travel, and life with a newborn, let’s just say that blogging was not exactly my top priority. But, oh, have I’ve missed it so!
I don’t really do resolutions because they tend to be so easily broken, however I do want to recommit myself to back to my poor, neglected blog. In the past, I’ve tried to blog in sync with my youtube channel, which is kind of ridiculous, so now I want to use this as a different avenue for my creative expression. I’ve been so blessed to develop relationships with many companies, which means I really have a whole host of products for review that you often don’t see. This is truly the perfect place for reviews and, occasionally, my random, rambley thoughts–don’t you think?
Plus, I feel like it’s a good way to ease myself back to work and learn how to be both a beauty vlogger and a mom. At the peak of my vlogging last year, I was uploading videos 4-5 times a week. It’s definitely going to take some time to get back to that volume, but I do want to continue to bring you quality videos a least a couple times a week in addition to the blog reviews.
Clearly, this huge life change has brought change to my channel. When I embarked on the journey of vlogging my pregnancy, I had no idea if the subject would interest my viewers or not. So I was pleasantly surprised and overwhelmed by how well they responded, and even more excited by the slew of new subscribers that the topic brought to the GlowofGrace family! With the announcement of my pregnancy and birth of my daughter, there has been a shift in my interests, as well as the interests of my viewers. My most popular videos and posts relate to my experiences as a mom, and so I want to take this opportunity to transition GlowofGrace to more of a lifestyle channel. A place where we can discuss not only beauty and fashion, but also tips, tricks and products for mamas and babies, home decor ideas, our favorite recipes, etc. The possibilities are truly endless and I feel like this is just such a natural change for me.
I’m so excited about what the future holds for us, and I hope that you are too! Cheers to all things new in 2015!
So excited to see GlowofGrace grow even more so than in 2014. Love all of it!

Happy New Year 2015, Rachel, Kyle, Grace, and kitties! 😉
I’m so excited to see what’s to come on your blog and YouTube channel. I enjoy everything you blog and vlog, and appreciate the time and effort you put into it. I learn so much from you – great products, great places, and new ways to do things. 🙂
Each New Year I always set the goal for myself to learn something new each day. Since discovering all things Glow Of Grace via your vlog last year, many of the new things I learned were from you and your blog and vlog. So I’m looking forward to what I’ll learn from you in 2015. 😉
Love, Peace, Joy, Good Health, and Blessings to y’all and your family in 2015.
