In this tutorial, I use a few of the gorgeous Vice Palette shades to make a lovely Christmas look that’s perfect for the holidays. Just using Junkie, the jewel tone green, would have been pretty, but not necessarily Christmasy. It would be very reminiscent of some of the looks I did using my Smoked Palette shade, Loaded. Not exactly what I wanted or what comes to mind when I think, “Holiday.” Since combining traditional red and green would have been a nightmare, I decided to take a more chic approach and blended Junkie with the gold-turned-to-eyeshadow, Blitz. I really like how it turned out! Pair it with a black dress and a pair of heels for church on Christmas Eve or a cream, chunky knit sweater and boots on Christmas Day.

I like how it turned out and I like how the gold is pulled into the green so that it subtly fades from one to the other. The thing I really love about this look is how pretty and wearable this looks when the eyes are open, and then you get a glimpse of this gorgeous blend of jewel tone and metal when you blink.
In the video, I mentioned the fallout and a couple things that I was doing to prevent it. Read my thoughts on this issue and tricks to prevent and cope with it here.
Up next is a fun Christmas TAG that Elle Folwer just did in one of her Vlogmas videos on EllesGlitterGossip. I thought it was so fun, so look out for that tomorrow!
