Happy April, y’all!  Doing these monthly favorites videos just really makes me realize how quickly time flies by!  Is it just me?  This month went by especially quickly because we had friends in for SXSW and then my parents were just in town for Easter.  It got me all thrown off my filming/posting schedule, but never fear, I’m back on track now!

This month I have a bunch of favorites that all have helped me get in the mood for Spring!  Almost all of my beauty favorites are seasonally driven, and since the warmer weather is just starting (or maybe hasn’t even started yet for those of you Midwest & East Coasters), I’m sure these items aren’t going anywhere and will continue to be a part of my routine for the next few months. On A More Personal Note… (Intro to my life as a baseball wife)

I had one not so favorite item this month, but everyone and their sister seem to be RAVING about it, so maybe I’m just crazy.  Benefit’s They’re Real! Mascara.  Guys, I don’t get it.  I wasn’t just unimpressed with it, I really didn’t like it.  It didn’t hold my curl AT ALL, it didn’t do anything fabulous to the length or volume of my lashes, and it was super hard to take off.  Well, it was about like a waterproof mascara in the removal department, but if you’re not going to be waterproof and hold my curl like a waterproof mascara, you better come off a heck of a lot easier than a waterproof mascara!! Okay, rant over.  But seriously, please tell me in the comments if you found this too or if I’m really just insane.  Thank you.
