Happy Fresh Friday!! Since my last makeup tutorial was an evening smoky eye, I wanted to lighten things up a bit for this week’s look. This has been my foundation routine for a few weeks now, and I’m absolutely loving it. I can’t stand the feeling of a lot of makeup on my face when it’s hot and muggy outside, but I also need some serious coverage to mask my breakouts. This quick and easy routine leaves you with the most perfect, radiant skin without the heavy look or feel of makeup. Enjoy!

Using cream products in this routine looks the most natural, as if you just happened to wake up looking fabulous. As you can see above, my skin tone has been evened out and my breakouts concealed, but all of my freckles and beauty marks are still clearly visible. The blended combination of the cream contour, blush and highlighter gives you a naturally radiant and flushed appearance that is perfect for Spring and Summer.
Finding the right concealer for this look is essential because you want something that will give you full coverage (if you need it), but will still blend seamlessly into your “no makeup” look. I’ve chosen the Hard Candy Glamoflauge because it’s serious, heavy duty concealer, but it blends out beautifully. Plus it’s really inexpensive, so you can buy a few different shades and mix and match if you need to. No matter which concealer you use, take your time and build up the coverage slowly. This will give you a much a more natural look than if you hurriedly glob on a ton of product all at once. If you don’t have the P82 brush I use for blending my concealer, you should. Trust me. However, your ring finger will do just fine, but tap, don’t wipe to avoid removing off the product you just took the time to apply.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this tutorial! Have a great weekend and I’ll see you in a few days for Maintenance Monday!
Very nice blend of the foundation, looks natural and glowy on you. 🙂 You have beautiful skin too. I noticed you haven’t set it with powder?
Thanks

Thank you!! When my skin is doing well (like it was in this video), I generally don’t set it with a powder because my skin is so dry. Now I always set my under eye concealer, but that’s pretty much it! Of course, if you have oily or combo skin, this routine would still work for you, you probably would need to set it with powder though. 🙂
