How did your first week of 2014 go?  If you’re doing the Daily Bible with me, were you able to keep up?  I’m proud to say that I did all of my readings despite our insanely busy schedule this week.  I still need to get into a better routine with it, but at least it got done!

This week I had one really stand out verse that I thought tied in so well with the theme and nature of my blog and YouTube channel.

God created us in his image.  His perfect image.  With the media photoshopping our female celebs and role models to the point of insanity, it’s so easy to become dissatisfied with the bodies God gave us.  Even I have to admit that I suffer from insecurities, but this verse really says it all.  We are perfectly made in God’s perfect image.  Next time you look in the mirror and wish that your nose were a little straighter or your cheekbones a little more prominent, remember that God handmade those features and they make you uniquely you.  The wonderful, beautiful person that God created you to be!
