Overte Hair Argan Nature Line Review

I’ve discovered yet another hidden Korean beauty gem!!  My contact at Dermaloque (find my review of their fabulous BB Cream here) introduced me to the Overte Hair company that features eco-certified organic ingredients, one of them being the increasingly popular Argan Oil.  Argan Oil is cropping up in hair and beauty products everywhere for its rejuvenating and nourishing properties.  Overte was kind enough to send me their Argan Nature Line for review.  This line consists of a shampoo, conditioner, and treatment mask.  After about a month of use, I came to really love these products!!  Watch the video below for my full review.

Products mentioned:
Argan Nature Shampoo
Argan Nature Treatment (Conditioner)
Argan Nature Mask

On me:
M+O Long sleeve White Tee (similar)
OPI Gel Nailpolish (Bubble Bath)
EXPRESS Headband (similar)

I was extremely pleasantly surprised by how gentle, yet effective this shampoo/conditioner duo is.  In my experience, the more natural a shampoo is, the less it actually cleans my hair.  I’ve tried both the L’Oreal EverPure and Aveeno PureRenewal lines, but after a week or two, my hair starts to feel really gummy and dirty.  It’s so gross, and when I saw that the main ingredients are all natural and organic, I got a little panicked that these products might yield the same results.  The opposite proved to be true!! This shampoo and conditioner are gentle enough not to strip my color, but get my hair SO clean.  How clean, you may ask?  I’ve found that since I started using the Argan Nature Line, my hair is actually less greasy on day 2 or 3.  This doesn’t come at the cost of the healthiness or shininess of my hair though.  My hair always feels and looks so shiny, which is what every woman ultimately strives for.

The shampoo and conditioner alone are enough to keep your hair looking and feeling healthy, but it’s always good to have a deep treatment mask to counteract the negative effects of all the heat, styling and processing we torture our hair with.  This mask is easy to apply with its thick conditioner-like consistency.  The instructions say to apply liberally, but it really doesn’t take a ton of product to do the job.  I’ve used this a handful of times with the result of seriously silky, shiny hair.  They also instruct you to apply heat for 5 minutes to maximize results, but I haven’t yet tried this method.  I am eager to see the results though after seeing how great my hair looks after using the mask without heat.

These products can all be bought, along with their other product lines, at Overtehair.com for a reasonable price.  The links to the Argan Nature Line products and their prices will be listed below.  While the prices are higher than drugstore brands, they are lower than many salon brands, but similar in quality to those higher end hair products I’ve used in the past.  A little goes a long way, so you don’t have to fill your entire palm just to feel like you’re getting your moderately long hair clean or conditioned.

Argan Nature Shampoo (300mL) $15.99
Argan Nature Shampoo (500mL) $23.99
Argan Nature Treatment (300mL) $19.99
Argan Nature Treatment (500mL) $31.99
Argan Nature Mask $23.99

Overte is also offering a superb deal through the end of December.  Enter coupon code OVERTE50 at checkout to get 50% (yeah, that’s right.  HALF!) off your entire order.  PLUS you get FREE SHIPPING on any orders over $49.99!!  If you take advantage of this deal, you’re looking at prices that are comparable to drugstore brands.
